Jaďuďová’s Sentimental Valse is a deeply expressive and emotionally charged concert waltz. Subtitled L’Amour, it unfolds as a romantic and introspective tone poem in dance form, drawing on the legacy of salon music but infused with dramatic gestures, harmonic boldness, and heartfelt sincerity.

Though cast as a waltz, the work pushes far beyond mere elegance—it moves through grief, passion, sweetness, and ecstatic outbursts, presenting a rich inner world filtered through the form of a familiar dance.
